Relay For Life Keller Williams Realty Clear Lake/NASA was the only real estate team to participate in the Greater Bay Area Relay For Life in its inaugural year. Since then, we've hosted both live and silent auctions, had office-wide garage sales and sold concessions in the park to raise money for this event. Our agents continue to push us to new, creative heights in our fundraising efforts, and we have been recognized as the top fundraising team for the past three years now, with an all time high of over $21,000 raised in 2006. The Relay benefits the American Cancer Society, and we want to thank our families, friends and clients for supporting a charity so near and dear to all our hearts. It's never too late to donate. Remember, together we can find a cure!
Child Safety Day Parents are always so appreciative of this event where our agents man finger printing stations and DNA collecting booths and distribute crime-prevention coloring books. To encourage a better sense of fire safety to parents and children alike, the Nassau Bay Fire Department has participated in the past, bringing out one of their fire engines to the delight of children of all ages.
Blood Drive What started out as an office event widened as clients and vendors rolled up their sleeves to donate. It's just another example of how Keller Williams Clear Lake/NASA is giving back to our community. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center has ongoing opportunities in you are interested in donating to this life-saving cause.
Flu Shots When people were lining up in the aisles of grocery stores to get this important vaccine, our broker made lives easier by bringing her doctor's nurse to our office to give shots to those who wanted them. We've continued this service ever since, and Immediate Medical Care of Nassau Bay now administers the vaccines in our office. We welcome family members and clients of our agents to come get their flu shot in the fall.
Client Appreciation Barbecue First organized in 2002 by a few of our agents as a way to say thanks to their clients, this event has become one of the highlights of our year. Agents used to stay up all night cooking some of the tastiest barbecue around, but the event has grown so large that we've had to call in the barbecue professionals and move to Walter Hall Park in League City to accomodate all our guests. It's a wonderful family time where children can enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, a moon walk and face painting. Everyone enjoys the great food and company, and it's all compliments of Keller Williams Realty Clear Lake/NASA.
Vendor Appreciation Luncheon What better time could there be than during the week of Thanksgiving for our agents to recognize the efforts of all our favorite vendors? Blanket of Hope If there's one thing we know for sure about Texas weather, it's that you can't predict it! That's why we start collecting blankets and gently used outerware during the hot summer months for distribution in our area by Interfaith Caring Ministries. The Blanket of Hope Drive gives us much more than a little closet space. It gives us a connection to the less fortunate members of our community. It gives us the chance to truly making a difference in someone's life.
Bowling League Advertising isn't restricted to print, and some fun-loving agents have found a way to spread name recognition of Keller Williams Realty Clear Lake/NASA while perfecting their frames. Our bowling team may not sweep the league, but they certainly spread their good spirit and enthusiasm to others in our community. Come out and cheer for them every Tuesday night (except during summer) at Alpha Lane Bowling Center in Webster.
